That means more choices for new learners\u2014but if you\u2019re currently enrolled in the Humber Polytechnic program, now is the time to focus on finishing to avoid potential transition headaches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What\u2019s Changing?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Since 2019, Humber Polytechnic has been the sole provider of real estate courses in Ontario. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reco.on.ca\/news\/reco-introduces-multiple-education-providers-to-deliver-real-estate-learning-across-ontario\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">RECO announced today<\/a> that, starting in the summer of 2025, real estate students will have the option to choose from four institutions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Algonquin College<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Career College Group<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Humber Polytechnic<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sir Sanford Fleming College of Applied Arts and Technology (Fleming College)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These institutions will deliver RECO\u2019s comprehensive real estate curriculum, redeveloped in 2019. The courses will be fully updated to incorporate all TRESA-related changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What This Means for You<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019re already enrolled in the Humber Polytechnic program, you can continue your studies, but there\u2019s a transition period to be aware of. <s>Based on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reco.on.ca\/news\/reco-introduces-multiple-education-providers-to-deliver-real-estate-learning-across-ontario\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">RECO\u2019s announcement<\/a>, the current Humber program will <strong>stop accepting new students in the spring of 2025<\/strong>.<\/s> Update: <a href=\"https:\/\/humber.ca\/realestate\/news\/transition.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Humber&#8217;s transition plan<\/a> indicates they will <strong>stop accepting new students to the current program on June 30, 2025<\/strong>.
