Important news for current and future Ontario real estate students\u2014Humber Polytechnic has just released the transition plan<\/strong><\/a> for its Real Estate Education Programs. This outlines what\u2019s changing, when it\u2019s happening and what it means, whether you\u2019re already in the program or considering enrolling soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Countdown is On \u2014 September 30, 2025 is the Ideal Finish Line<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you\u2019re currently enrolled in the\u00a0Humber Real Estate Education Program<\/strong>, you now have an official timeline:\u00a0aim to complete as much of the current program as possible by September 30, 2025<\/strong>. This includes both the courses and<\/em> their associated\u00a0exams<\/strong>. After that, the program shuts down. Any remaining learners will transfer into Humber\u2019s\u00a0new<\/strong>\u00a0real estate education program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To avoid repeating any work, it’s strongly recommended that you complete any in-progress<\/strong> courses and pass the related exams before the transition. Incomplete components will likely need to be restarted under the new program. The ideal plan is to finish everything by the September deadline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The takeaway? Plan now<\/strong>. Especially if you’re in the middle of the program, try to finish each course and its exam <\/strong>before the September deadlines. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Keep in mind that Simulation sessions may fill up fast. If you\u2019re in Course 3 or 4, aim to finish the course, write the exam and book the Simulation session as early as possible. Also, remember that Course 5 has no exam, so once you\u2019ve completed Simulation 2 (and its exam), register for and complete Course 5 right away\u2014it\u2019s the final step before RECO registration.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

What If You Don\u2019t Finish in Time?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If you don\u2019t complete the program before the September 2025 deadline, you will be able to transfer into Humber\u2019s new program<\/strong>. Humber will be providing a transition path, but expect some hiccups as the program will have substantial changes, including updated course content<\/strong>, a new exam provider<\/strong> and different registration processes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
