The Exam
The Broker Qualifying Exam is a 3-hour cumulative theory exam that is required for admission to the Humber College Real Estate Broker Program. It challenges your understanding of extensive federal and provincial legislation impacting real estate trading in Ontario. Topics are wide-ranging and testable details are abundant. Some of the need-to-knows include CASL, FINTRAC, DNCL, OBC, OFC, HST, TSSA, plus lots about home warranties, condominiums, planning, tenancies, environmental protection, electronic signatures, family law and many, many more. Of course, REBBA is a hot topic.
